The Great Outdoors RV & Golf Resort--we stayed here 3 nights because they had a 3-nights-for-the-price-of-2 deal. It was a beautiful place . . . really a small town of it's own, with a P.O., beauty/barber shop, etc. etc. etc.--restaurants--RV sales/service, everything you'd need. However, they are definitely not child-friendly here! Ross got "busted" for riding his bike without a parent/guardian being with him!!! The Security guy followed Ross back and informed me that children under 16 must be accompanied. We had read that in the rules . . . but did that mean that they would really enforce it? One day we ate at Florida's Seafood (delicious rock shrimp) and drove to Sebastian. The 2nd day we spent at Kennedy Space Center and ate at the famous Dixie Crossroads--more delicious rock shrimp. There is so much to see and do at the Space Center that I really thought the price was a ripoff because there's no way you can see it all unless you'd start very early in the day. We paid for the NASA Up Close, which included a guided bus tour--nice but they herded us like cattle much of the time. Got back too late to see the two Imax movies.
