Wendell, Ross and I took the Jeep up to Canton, Missouri, to join the Meyer family for the celebration of my dad's 95th birthday. We left home on Thursday and returned on Sunday. Ross always likes going to visit his great grandfather.
Good one of Mary!
Judy cutting Dad's beautiful cake. The party was held at Culver Stockton College, where Dad is a student! He took some of the attendees on a tour to see his latest art project.
I LOVE this picture! I am so very proud to have my Dad and these wonderful brothers and sisters after all the years of being an "only." L to R (for those viewers of this blog who may not know): Ron, Pat, Kenny, Dad, me, Judy, Bob, and Bill. Thanks for being so nice and I love y'all!
Friday night we met some of the family for supper at a neat little restaurant in Wayland, MO. They are known for their large tenderloin sandwiches and, sure enough, the sandwiches almost covered a dinner plate!
L to R: Dorothy & Kenny & Peyton, Ron, Betty, RJ, Ross, Wendell, Bob, Mary, and Dad. Pat took this good picture--thanks, Pat!
Here's a good one of Pat and Dad.
