Dad on his 96th birthday in April, 2010, with Kenny, Bill, Judy, and Ron.
Dad at the college showing off his eagle in March or April.
His eagle in the workshop at the college.
Ron, me and Dad on his first visit to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, . . . August 18, 2010.
After a 2nd trip to Mayo, and undergoing many tests and consultations with several doctors, he was sent home on Aug. 26 with antibiotics for "extreme high level of bacteria in the upper intestine." No cancer was found, nor any "major" findings.
On Sep. 2 he was admitted to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL, with a 102.3 temp and put on more antibiotics. Within two days he was rebounding and finally getting his appetite back!
Visiting Dad at hospital on Sep. 5, 2010. He got to go home later in the day.
Me and my two sisters, Judy and Pat, while at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL, on Sep. 5, 2010.
We're all hoping that Dad will continue to improve and not get too aggravated with his visiting nurses and therapists!

That's a great looking eagle! I hope your dad is doing well. He's a true folk artist.
