Home Is Where We Park It

My apologies to our many, or few, blogger fans for not posting for so long.  My dad passed away on March 30 and we have been BUSY.  We came up to MO (March 27) for his birthday (April 4).  However, he had gone to the hospital for a procedure to remove fluid from between his lungs and rib cage which caused a heart attack that he did not recover from.  He was in a comatose state from March 26 until his death on March 30.

This is my dad's house.  He was buried on his birthday and we stayed three more days before returning to TN.  However, after we got home, we decided to volunteer to come back and stay at the house until the auction for security reasons.  He lived between the new 4-lane highway (U.S. 61) and the old 2-lane 61.  We're sure that this house would be a "sitting duck" for thieves.  So we are Missouri residents until at least the auction date of 6-2-12.
