Shoveling against the tide???

 

This was the scene at the State Park Pavilion today . . . we observed this two-part operation.

To the east of the Pavilion they were loading up the oil-laden sand . . .

. . . transporting it to the operation to the west,

. . . where it was sifted, then returned to the east!  While we didn't get a close-up look, the sand looked pristine.
