May 25, Part III

We were "invited" to tour the homeplace as it looks now, one year later.

The shop building and hen house look the same.

The house looks the same . . . until you notice the new windows and new deck.
The new owner welcomed us into his new home.

Beautiful new kitchen!

We were impressed that, even though everything has been replaced and transformed, the Amish-made cabinets were retained!

We loved the tile floor, island, and that the sliding glass doors were retained.

The new laundry/pantry area on the side where the the fridge was.

Notice the new bedroom ceiling.  Is it called a "tray ceiling"?

Nice master bedrom.

Ditto . . . nice living room.

We all loved the opened-up staircase.

Which is probably twice as wide as it was!

Look at the nice entrance they made into the former attic . . . which is now a bathroom and bedroom!

View from living room into dining room.

Dining room, newly-designed bathroom to left.

New kitchen . . . very updated and functional.
Porch transformation!

%!
Nice view of the new deck.

We all had to go out to the shop building and pet "Stumpy/Tripod" . . . she was so appreciative of the attention
