Getting carded on the 17th brought a big smile!
He was happy to have the procedure done and more than ready to go eat!
He started with the square pan, but it was too small.
So when he had an opportunity to acquire some, he boiled and peeled them.
They turned out really pretty. It's said that the ones with two or more knees are more valuable.
(They were stuck in the fence to dry. Blogger wouldn't let me go back and add that!)
The one on the right has its own, unique attitude!
Finally done waxing! Only took me 3 weeks and 2 days! Thanks to our son and grandson who washed the roof and gutters, respectively, for me!
July 4th--This is how southerners celebrate! Had a great visit with family and friends, even if we were scrunched on the porch of our storage building with a fan! And we had flies as special, uninvited guests. Guess this would qualify for "You might a redneck if .. ."
