Latest on Floods here

After the flooding of this area on May 1 and 2, the base was "closed" to all but essential personnel.  It reopened on May 7 and shopping at the Commissary and Exchange was business as usual.  Neither of those facilities had extensive damage, but we saw other buildings with "PODS" parked by them and cleaning services doing their work.  I saw Judy Barber today at Kroger . . . they are in the RV park behind the Commissary . . . she said the RV park is full of "FEMA" trailers to house the Geo-bachelors, whose building flooded extensively.
