On Saturday, May 8, we motored to Mayfield, Kentucky, for a wedding shower for Paige and Matt ("Bean"). Mayfield is 133 miles north of us and is really a nice little town. We got there in time to enjoy a delicious lunch at a "Chicago" pizza place, recommended by Paige. The shower was held in the First Baptist Church building which we never would have found if Paige and Bean hadn't met us and led the way!
The honorees are wearing their wedding colors and the small bowl in front of the cake contains M&Ms in their colors with their names imprinted on each M&M!!!
It was good that Bean was there to help her, since they got lots of gifts.
This was an especially nice gift--a hand-pieced quilt--from a great-grandmother of Bean's.
I just had to get a picture of Paige and her "little" brother, Ross!
