Beach Patrol

I am happy to report that everything looks much better at "the" beach house today!  The cleanup workers did a good job and the beach is pretty!

There were still some "tarballs," but basically the beach is clean and people were enjoying the beach AND the water.

There are several staging areas for the cleanup operation.

This is the scene at the Perdido Key Bridge.

It seemed that all the vehicles at the east end of the SP Pavilion were workers . . . it looked like another staging area.

These buses were a puzzle to us . . . at first we thought they were bringing in workers, but then we noticed they were EMPTY!  That makes no sense!  We kept seeing more and more, for a total of about 20.  Maybe I can find some news to explain this.
